Duluth, Minnesota, June 1, 2021 – Asia Innovations Group’s live social video platform Uplive today announced the release of global singing competition winner Zandy Storm’s single, “Only Up From Here.” Uplive, the largest independent video-centric live social app globally, is committed to empowering inspiring streamers like Zandy to share their talents across countries, languages, and cultural boundaries.
Zandy Storm, who won Uplive’s inaugural Singing for the World competition last year, released “Only Up From Here” as a testament to her journey as an artist from aspiring singer to global competition winner. Written and produced by Platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated engineer and producer Chris Rosa, the song is a powerful ballad about overcoming challenges in life.
Uplive’s Singing for the World was created as a one-of-a-kind singing competition designed to be accessible to all. The competition, which contained similar attributes to hit shows like The Voice, American Idol, and The X Factor, allowed participants to go live to compete in front of large audiences wherever and whenever was convenient. With Uplive’s global user community of over 200 million serving as the audience and voters, Zandy Storm was announced as the first winner by American Idol alumnus and current “The Masked Dancer” judge, Paula Abdul.
