Kal Bear, also known as Kal Wilkinson, is an English singer songwriter, producer & composer born on July 5, 2002, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He grew up in Leeds England as an orphan, hopping house to house. Most of his songs are about his life experiences. Kal ran away from an abusive home at the age of 13. He spent the age of 13 to 17 living in homelessness, but kept writing his songs on the road; combining Pop music and Folk into one genre, eventually leading him to work with musicians like Ed Sheeran under Atlantic Records. Ed guided him down the right path of the industry. The singer songwriter started mastering each genre, performing live acoustic sessions in front of large crowds at the age of 16. He took it upon himself to finish school and completed online classes for Queen's University Belfast. He was then emancipated & bought his first home in California at 17. Shortly after, he appeared on BBCR1 talking about his life experiences. In the interview, he stated, “I don’t have much, I don’t have a family or friends, but I hope I have fans one day.” He released his Missed Album on April 18, 2021. The album consists of very sad, touching calming pop tracks; combined with his soothing voice, the album is sure to put your heart at ease. He gained a little fan base after the release of his Timeless Album in 2021. He is currently working on his Moments album for 2022 which will release on June 28th.
